Freddy, My Love!

A movie that I've been waiting 10 years for finally opened August 15. When I heard that it was finally coming out, I honestly could not wait!!!! The movie is none other than "Freddy VS. Jason". These are the two horror legends that I'm a HUGE fan of. I'm a DIEHARD Freddy fan. I love him! He's the celebrity that I want to meet most (Robert Englund). I want him to be completely dressed in costume and makeup when I meet him, and then I want him to chase me....hee hee, I'm silly. So anyways, when I was 3 or 4 my uncle Ronnie always babysat me. He made me watch all of the Jason movies with him. So, I told him about this monumentous movie that was coming out and that I wanted him to go see it with me. Keep in mind that my uncle has not gone to a movie theatre in over 20 years! After a bit of hesitation, he agreed to go!!!!!!!!! I was SOOOOOO happy (and extremely honored that he chose me to see a movie with after 20 years!). As the days went by until August 15, I could hardly do anything without thinking about how I'd soon see Freddy, my love, up on the big screen again. The Wednesday before the COOLEST thing happend. I wasn't really paying much attention to the tv, when I heard a familiar 'song' come on. It was music from my movie of all movies "Romeo + Juliet". I naturally turned my undivided attention to the tv. It turned out to be the trailer for "Freddy VS. Jason". They were actually playing music from "R + J" in the trailer for "Freddy VS. Jason"!!!!! I'd seen trailers for the movie before, but they'd never used that music before. I was SOOO shocked! It had to be some sort of a sign. So Friday came, I drove us down to Maryville. Ronnie bought our tickets and some popcorn and soda. Then we took our seats and awaited the image of our beloved Freddy and Jason. We made a little bet before the movie. He thought that Jason was going to win. I thought Freddy was going to win. The loser had to buy dinner. The movie started and I could hardly contain myself. I was SOOOOO happy!!!!! I'm not going to say anything about the movie (including which one of us bought dinner), other than that it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!! I am going to see it again when I get back to New York. I can't wait to see it again!
